I undid the four screws to take the housing apart. Then I measured and cut out the plastic so that I could put the backside in the back of the panel and the frontside in the front, and then screw them back together which locks it into the plastic. The screws don't go through the panel, it's just the little lip that goes all the way around the microedge that clamp it in place.

Here is a beta F-Body Radio/HVAC Delete Beer Panel with Microedge

Wish the MicroEdge plugged into the back vs the side...Had to dremel the back of the panel a bit...

Just looks like ABS plastic. Do a search on google and you should be able to find some.

Nope, my car. Should look pretty sick with my 6LE 4 gauge panel where the vents go. Thanks again Jim

That looks clean. I also use the IAT timing trick to reduce timing. It works good and easy to do

Rowmark Laserable Plastic (goggle Rowmark). Most engravers (award places) can get it, not many have the textured style in stock (or 1/8" thick for that matter) as they mostly do awards and are into glossy and flashy. Use 1/8" thick, 1/16" is to flexible when you push switches. The stuff bandsaws well and can be shaped with a file.

It cuts and engraves even better if you have a laser engraver
