Default Grounds under dash

Maybe I am just missing it but is there any place to run grounds to under the dash or inside the car? I really dont want to run anything else through the fire wall.

A couple under/around the steering column and one on the passenger(not sure if there's another on the driverside) under the door trim panel. Also you can use the metal bracket that's used to bolt on the center console.

Might be. If you peak your head behind the flip-out cup holder you'll see it. There's also some under the center console. Now that I think about it, there's a lot haha.

If you can't find them I can take some pictures for you.

look directly under the steering column on the wall, just above the carpet.

You can also use the dash mounting studs, or create your own mounting locations to any paint free area on the body sheet metal behind the dash, trim, carpet, etc.

I prefer to have independant ground locations instead of grounding multiple items at a single point.

Please let me know if you have any other wiring related questions.

Also depends on what you're grounding. Some things are better off grounded to the engine.

Correct...but typically those things aren't in the passenger compartment.

Agreed. I only mention it because I found that my wideband controller (located underneath the car, but the harness runs inside) was best grounded directly to the engine, so I ran a ground wire through the firewall to the cylinder head (it was originally grounded to the dash mounting stud and I had some issues).
