Computech N2O
Hey guys, the guy at my local engine and dyno shop said he deals with computech and could get me a wet kit for a very good price. Does anyone have any information about this N2O. Ill probally spray about a 100 shot, I dont want to go too crazy with it. What all will I need to keep it safe and very effective.

I have never heard of Computech nitrous systems. That certainly doesn't mean there's not one, just I have never heard of them. I know there is a company named Computech that makes data logging equipment but that all I know about them. Are you sure he wasn't talking about Compucar? Compucar made nitrous systems. I really don't know alot about Compucar either but they either did or still do make nitrous systems. If you would like I could give a comparable price on a NX system so you will have somehting to compare it too. If you have any questions feel free to email me at sales@speedtechnologies.net or call me at 417-581-1175. Thanks
I have a few friends that run them on their cars around here. no one i know has a setup on their f-body. In all honesty, most nitrous kits are extremly similiar on a entry level(50-125). so mainly the thing you need to do is get the kit that works well with what you wanna make out of it....you know what i mean. for me, i wouldn't be worried about getting a "deal" on a nitrous kit as much as getting "the works", i.e. all the bells and whistles. that way you won't ever have to worry about it, and never have any regrets with it.
if i were you, seeing you are from NC, i would give More Perf. a call. Ask for Bob, and tell him George Fusner's friend sent you. tell him what you want, and he'll take care of you!!!
either way, Good luck man!

yea man, you can't go wrng with NX thats for damn sure
couple of websites id reccommend is
dynotune.org
nitrodaves.com
BTW- i plan on going with a dry kit, mainly because i want a street setup, not a race car. i know nitrous big shots dont matter on the streets, but for the most part, once you get above 150 shot(wet or dry), your're gonna need to start upgrading your fuel system. I wanna run a nice small dry setup for the "extra edge", nothing more....

i personally like the VCN-1000 kit. very user friendly, especially to those of us who are not nitrous inclined. some people have ill feelings towards the kit(it is pricey), but you can't beat the safety features it entails. its sorta like a "jazzed up" 5177 kit.
w/ your mods i will tell you right now....
your hp/tq on a dry 75 shot setup properly is going to be give or take 10....

that's sounds sweet to me!
if you run into someone that can take you with that, then good for them....
what other kits have you looked into?

hey onebadz. I am George Fusner that Tim was talking about. Definitly give Bob a call and talk with him. If you ever go down there PM me and i will meet you there to check out your car. I live in Charlotte so its not a big thing. BTW how far is Lexington from charlotte?
hey onebadz I had a compucar system on my 91 GTA. I bought the system new. The gas noid went bad and didnt spray and it cracked 2 pistons on a 150 shot. If I was you I would go with NX or TNT!
