You think this will work? I want a direct port. However, I don't want the fuel cell, extra fuel pump, or the extra fuel lines. NX makes a kit that will work with our high fuel pressure but, it is designed for a returnless fuel system(F-body).
My buddy was thinking that we could just install a fuel pressure regulator on the service port on the fuel rail. Then just run a line to the fuel solenoids. You think this will work? I have plenty of room under the hood for this crap and both of my fuel pumps should support any amount of reasonable power. I want to run a 175 shot direct port setup.
What do you think?

NX makes a couple of different direct port set ups for EFI fuel pressures one of which is for the LT1/LS1 cars and another that is for other EFI vehicles which would work for you. I called NX and NOS they both said that they didn't make a kit that would bolt on my truck.
I was going to buy a NOS Sportsman kit and install it on my truck. I just need low fuel pressure.

That's correct its not a direct bolt on like the NXL systems but NX does make a direct port system that works with EFI fuel pressures. It would be a similar installation to the NOS Sportsman but would not require a seperate fuel system. Wth both the NOS Sportsman and the NX EFI Direct port systems you would have to drill and tap and plumb your intake.
