Dyno and track results for 2009
Just not happy with the way the car is running this year. Doesn't seem to have the power down low that other H/C cars w/similar setups have.
The short block has a stock crank w/forged rods and pistons, approx 11:1... honestly never did the calcs to figure it out exactly. Stock LS6 intake, ported 241s, flowing 290 int / 210 exh.
Exhaust is Kooks 1 3/4", ORY, into a flowmaster catback. The flowmaster needs to go for sure.
Camshaft is a Lunati 60512, which is a 232/238 .599/.601 113 LSA, exact specs here.
Put the car on the dyno a few weeks ago:

At the track, the car ran a best of 11.44, best trap of 129.95, best 60' of 1.6. None of which all happened at the same time... so I'm more than willing to chalk some of the lack of track results up to driver fail.
I liked the #'s it made over all, but only really on nitrous... on motor it didn't meet what I had expected. On motor it put down 382/364. On a 200 wet shot of nitrous (HarrisSpeedWorks setup), it made 562/599.
I worked with HSW on the nitrous setup, and did all the proper upgrades to run a 200 shot. I think I have a questionable nitrous solenoid... as it doesn't reliably open. Even on just a full bottle @ 900psi, it sometimes won't open. Pretty frustrating. I am running a -6 feed line, -4 fuel lines, purge, heater, pressure switch.
Camshaft wise, I think I need to swap it out for something else. This Lunati cam just isn't putting down the power I want. The motor should be able to make 400WHP AND put down more torque.
Long story short, I'm looking for cam suggestions and any suggestions on why the dyno shows my nitrous pull bouncing as much as it does. I see other cars running big shots that don't bounce anything near what this setup does.
Thanks for reading folks.

And if your running those number their doesnt seem to be much wrong with the combo.
How fast has the car gone on nitrous?
If the car is full weight and a m6 low to mid 11's isnt running that bad, especially if you have run that et with a better 60ft and mph on different passes. This would seem to me that on a a full clean pass you would be sub 11.3's.

Auto or six speed? I really wouldn't be too concerned with dyno numbers and they really don't seem way far off. For the solenoids, make sure your grounds are good. Try moving them to the battery and see if it makes a difference.

Here's the link to the 129.95 time slip.
