Default Hardline restriction

At what point do hardlines become the restriction in flow for a kit. Like these vehicle specific kits for example. They all utilize hard lines that look smaller than typical hose, but they should flow the same or more. Any thoughts?

If set up right hard lines will have similar IDs as flexible ones. A flex line is thick as hell because it has to be strong but able to move. The hard doesn't it is rigid so it is small and stong. Compair brake lines. You main lines are hard and tiny. Your soft hoses for each wheel are big. They have the same ID though.

other than internal volume, the only thing that really creates a restriction is having too many 90 degree or higher bends.

The hardline in our vehicle specific systems will actually out flow the braided hoses And look 10 times sexier doing it..

To add to what Mike mentioned it also depends on the size line. For example some kits come with a -4 hose out of the solenoid to the plate such as all of our plate kits. Some of the others out there might only come with -3.
