So I was pricing out a 4l60e and converter. I mentioned how I wanted to spray my truck and was told I needed a anti-ballooning plate. Is this true though if I lock out the nitrous for 1st gear? I'm not serious on running some crazy number, its not a track toy my truck, I just thought about having some spray for 2nd gear on.

Oh I was thinking it was recommended to me as the nitrous would be hard on it out of the hole, but even if I start spraying in second gear it is going to be really rough on the converter? Does anyone know what a 89 Silverado stepside weighs? My title for it says 3150, but that seems light for a truck, although it doesn't have four wheel drive.
