Damn it. Thats great to hear. I am not going to touch the pump unless I need to. The car is under 40K on the clock and 35K of those were bone stock.

not trying to jack the thread but your saying i dont even have to drop the tank? and whats the advantage of the hotwire kit?

On Fbody's you do, its on some year vettes that you dont have to.
The hotwire kit will wire the pump from the back of the alternator so you dont loose volts at WOT!

I wouldnt even change the pump. I would just do a KB BAP and call it a day. Thats what I have (along with 39 lb injectors) and im making over 600 to the wheels on spray.

i read that ur car is a show car but u will use the nitrous a few times... i glanced through this thread i dont think anyone mentioned this but y not a dedicated fuel system? just curious i know its expensive and all but u can then put 93 in the car and then run 110 in the dedicated tank for when u spray.. from what i understand that will help eliminate the chance of detonation.. i know its over kill for a 100shot but if u ever wanted to spray more u wouldnt have any problems.. im just throwing it out there to see what other people think about it.. http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...73&product=946

Idont think I need a hot wire kit for the fact I have a 140A Nations alternator and my voltage even with 3000 watts of car audio never drops or dims. As for the boost a pump it looks like my next mod. I have not decided on the fuel system yet. That is still a consideration. Thanks guys

The whole point of a rewire is to reduce resistance that the stock wiring causes, wich equals less voltage drop from the alternator to the pump. Has nothing to do with how big your alternator is. No different than a power amp needing bigger power wire to properly feed it. It don't matter how big your power source is, if the connections between the two sources is ****, you will not get full power!!! If your not going to upgrade the pump its self, a rewire will get the most available power from your source to the stock pump. Imo just replace the pump and don't touch anything else, should be easy on your car...

There is no reason for a stand alone fuel system for anything less than a 150 shot. Im running 460-400 to the wheels spraying a 150 wet shot through the TB and I get absolutly no timing retard with a 12.2 AFR as im WOT in the 1320. I am tempted to try a 175 shot on pump and see how that tunes out but im probably going to go with a direct port before I spray a 175 through my TB.

643 rwhp on a completely stock bottom end. My racetronix with hotwire wouldn't support more than 600 rwhp on spray so I installed a stand alone.

Quick Reply: Anyone making 550HP on a stock bottom 346ci???
