Would love a C-5 version of the Plastic Standalone

Going forged 383 this year Dave, hope to do both stages this year, fuel pressure is my concern with the wet Plate.

dont want to sound like an idiot or plug up the thread, but how do you run this with the stock fuel system? does it automatically disable the in tank pump and kick on the stand alone pump? i have no idea how these work.

No this is a dedicated fuel system that runs your NITROUS only. Meaning your Primary in-tank pump never turns off or "disables". When you arm your nitrous it kicks on the pump in the standalone and that pump then primes up to pressure. This sends fuel to your nitrous solenoid and when the nitrous activates it provides all the fuel it will need. People do this so they can run better gas when they spray. I.E. they run Race gas in the dedicated fuel cell so when the nitrous sprays it has some good gas behind it.

i got it now. you just run the fuel lines from the standalone pump directly to the solenoids.

Exactly. Also it's nice if your car's fuel system won't handle the extra xxx shot of nitrous you put on your car.

i have a stock 98 fuel pump feeding a LS1 with an MS4, good heads and either a FAST 90/90 or a Victor Jr with an intakeelbows.com elbow and a good TB. i have a walboro 255 ready to go in, but if i get this standalone i might not put it in.

Thanks guys,,

Beer, Unfortintly I do not know if we will be doing one anytime soon for the C5. I dont think there would be enough demand to cover how many we have to make at a time. Ofcourse we do have the aluminum series for the C5 though..

How long can race gas be stored in the new plastic series tank before it goes bad, or loses octane potency?? Need to know.

Im not sure on that. It would be no different than being in any other fuel tank. I will have to google the answer and get back to ya.

To prevent the fuel from sloshing around and keep fuel in the sump.
