2 vs 4 solenoid DP
Ok guys.Well im tired of my single nozzle N20 wet kit and figured its time to move up to the big boys.So now that i have a fully forged bottem end.I am makeing my own DP with a verry ported ls2 intake. The only thing i am lost on is wether or not to get the 2 or 4 solenoid kit from Nitrous Outlet.Whats the diff?Wich one will not cause my intake to "push water"?Wich one is more reliable? These are a few of the ? i have.If there is also anything else you would like to add please do.I dont feel like makeing any mistakes here.Thank you for your help.
Either one will work fine. The main difference is how much nitrous do you want to spray. Our 2 solenoid kit will flow 400 hp. The 4 solenoid kit will do 600+hp.
You could do a 2 solenoid direct port and a progressive controller to help soften the large hits from a dig.

Here a couple of links to some 4 solenoid DPs we have plumbed recently.
4 solenoid with distribution blocks
4 solenoid with rails
4 solenoid with distribution blocks
4 solenoid with rails
??for grant witch of them 2 distribute the best, and give me a ballpark figure on both,i like the first one,the plate would look good on it to.and would the standalone u sell work with either?
If your doing a stand alone you have to buy there dual feed kit as well,if your running the 4 solenoid. If its just the two solenoid you will be fine with a single stand alone. And about the flow.I was told that there is less strain and more even flow with the 4 solenoid. And it kindda makes more since to have 4 insted of just 2 anyways.

O and im useing there F-Body batt. relocation stand alone fuel system. It fits perfect for the GTO.And i love it.Unless you want it hidden then you can go with the 04 gto kit wich mounts down in front of the radiator.Im a small 150 shot and hit so much harder with some 108 octane. And theres no strain on your stock fuel pump
call me a newb, but are we talking about how many nitrous solenoids? or 1 fuel/1nitrous? and 2fuel/2 nitrous? beings you have the wet kit already with the solenoids, and 1 nozzle, would it be easier to get 2-8way distribution manifolds, and 7 more nozzles? would that work? just wondering here.....
A dedicated would be the best option to feed a direct port. Ours comes with a high pressure pump and return style regulator that can be used at high or low pressure. Supplying easily 500hp worth of fuel........just for your nitrous kit!
I think you would do better with a 2 solenoid. I don't think you would be needing a 600hp shot. I ran the NX 2 solenoid DP for three years. I sprayed a 250rwhp shot many, many times.

Also, most single nozzle kits have 1/8npt nozzles, where direct ports use 1/16npt nozzles. Theres not much room for a 1/8 nozzle in each runner so you may need all 8.
Make sure you center the distribution block on the intake. Many folks try and move it too far forward to compensate for the clearance for the cowl. This will starve the #7 and #8 of fuel. Good luck with the build.
