How come the NOS kit comes with two n2o solenoids placed in series? Redundancy in case one solenoid gets stuck open?

Not sure which kit you are referring to but yes, that's usually the case.

That's the 5177 dry kit right... It is a redundant solenoid for safety

Yup, answers my question. Why do they do it on this kit and not on wet kits or other kits for that matter?

I expect Robert56 to jump in here anytime soon. You mention "dry" and "redundant solenoids" and he will pop up like a 15 year old boy's weenie looking at his first piece of pu$$y.

Robert56 is our resident dry nitrous guru. He will post 3or 4 long paragraphs that could of been explained in 2 sentences and argue you down about wet shot nitrous systems.

I think I'm just going to use one nitrous solenoid. They only use one in the wet kits, so the risk isn't any different. Looks like NOS was just trying to find a way to bump the price of their kit up a little more.

If you've got it, what's the harm in wiring it up... I'd do it if I already had it!

If I had two I'd do it for the hell of it, but I only have one. Now I just have to figure out where I want to run the line into. How far from the maf does it need to be?
