Default Went a little faster...

Was able to go out today again and have some fun with the car. As many know we went out about a month ago and went 9.86 138 on the 150 jets.

It was a great day today here in Sac, but it was abnormally hot, about 65-70 degrees compared to 50 or so when we ran that 9.86, so the first pass we had the 150s in again, it went 1.38 9.98 137, not to bad in the heat.

Put the 200 jets in it, 72 36 with the ngk 8s in it with a total of 16 degrees in it. Picked up 2 tenths and 3 mph and went...

1.36
6.20 @ 111mph
9.78 @ 140 mph

Nothing changed, still 3400 lbs still stock heads still stock bottom end and this FTI converter keeps shining.

Thanks to Harris Speed Works for all the help and hard work, they are the best in the business. Also thanks to FTI, my tuner Mark Romans and everybody else that has helped along the way. I want the cold weather to come back!

Cam

I'm so freakin jealous that you can still race in Feb.

Congrats on the new times! I wish spring time would get here so I could post some new times.

Not only racing but racing in 65 degree weather with the sun shinning. We were suprised all day long how nice it was. Now wishing it was cold.

Bout 2 years ago with a 4l60 10 bolt same combo went 10.97 122, we ran it n/a last time out with 400, 9 inch, nitrous conveter and went 11.04 125 with a horrible 1.57 due to the tight converter, prolly an all out 10.70 something in decent weather and different converter gear combo.

i was just concerned about this FTI converter and how it was picking up on the spray.

Oh yea. let me look up that part number for ya since im home and can get the paperwork. Im so glad I went with FTI, this converter is prolly one of the best things I have bought for this car. The more power I put to it the more it shines. It is dead on right now. Def. give Greg a call and have him set you up with one. Couldn't be happier.

Thanks a lot man. The car keeps surprising us. on the 11.04 last time out it went 7.04 not sure on mph, on the 10.97 pass a couple years ago it was a 6.95.

Thanks sir. We had a couple oil downs during the day so were not sure if we need to mess with the bar or blame the track or myself. Lol.

I don't trust the radials and our track, it is never conisitant and never all that great.
