Default nitrous pressure guage on bottle?

I have the liquid filled nitrous pressure guage on my 15 lb bottle. Can this be taken off and used in a guage pod on the pillar somehow? What else would I need to hook it up that way if so. I'm looking to buy a guage pod and I want to use it with an air/fuel guage.

Dont take this as fact but, those gauges are mechanical gauges. In order to be able to mount that in a pod, I think you would have to run a line to it. But those gauges dont even have electrical connections on them. I just got my pod hooked up with no gauges yet. If you want some pictures ill post them.
Are you talking about gauges like this: I think these gauges are only meant to be hooked to the bottle.

Yes but it's screwed into the bottle without the adapter. WTF do you hook up a normal nitrous guage to then lol? It has to be attached to the bottle somehow I would think

Okay let me try to explain better. There are 2 types of gauges you can buy to mount in your pod on your pillar. The first is a mechanical gauge which needs a line of nitrous ran to. The second is an electrical gauge. These are what you want. Electrical gauges work by mounting an electric sending unit right on your bottle nut, then you just connect your main feed line to it. It sends information to your gauge electronically.

ok cool. Thanks for the pm. So that's an electric sending unit in the picture above attached to the bottle main feed line huh? And the guage just goes in the pod and wires up to this? You are supposed to be spraying your right now btw.

Yup thats how it works. But what you see in my pictures isnt for my gauge. Its a pressure sending unit for my bottle heater. But thats where your gonna mount your sending unit. Trust me if I could be spraying right now I would. It doesnt help that theres a foot of snow on the ground..

Well there's a lot of different makes out there, Autometer in my opinion being one of the best. Autometer electric gauges can get pretty pricey.

You're looking at double that and then some for an electric gauge.

It would be better to get an electric gauge instead of having to run another nitrous hose in the car and through your dash.

Here is a basic break down if you wanted the line through the car
1 Fitting for the Gauge -( 1/8th fem x 3an male )-
1 Fitting for the maifold or port in the bottle valve -( 1/8th male x 3an male )-
1 Hose -( You will have to come up with the length but we can make custom length hoses )-
