am i suppose to put the purge in the solenoid where it says P
and run my nitrous line there and plug up the inlet
or is it vise versa?

Are you using the 3 port nitrous solenoid? maybe this will help. The line on the left is the main feed line, coming out the bottom goes to the plate/nozzle, and the purge solenoid connects straight to the nitrous solenoid, line on the right is the outlet of the purge

 

This is how it will look with your purge if you have a 3 port solenoid.
