2005 CTS-V Stock Fuel System..Safe Shot Size?
So I was wondering how big a shot you guys think I can SAFELY run on my stock CTS-V fuel system? I will be adding a dedicated fuel system (hopefully in the next few months) and am already relocating my battery to do so, but for now dropping the tank in this car is a PAIN and from what I have read on here boost-a-pumps are a band aid.
Mods are:
I haven't logged fuel pressure yet (I will be doing this soon) but there were no problems leaning out on a 100 shot, I am really looking at going 125-150 until I get the dedicated. Should this be ok or is it just not worth it?
Mods are:
- N2O Outlet 78mm Wet Plate System
- Kooks 1-3/4 LT Headers w/ High Flow Cats
- Cold Air Intake
- Magnaflow Cat-Back
- PCM Tune

With no internal motor work you should be able to get away with 100-125hp shot without a problem. You could even go up to the 150hp range but i would definitely put it on a dyno to check AFR. The pump in that car should be able to support what you are wanting to do.
