Wow. I never knew a 10lb nitrous bottle will only last a short period. I swear I must of sprayed 8 times today and my bottle is empty. Is this normal? I see lots of money being spent on refills.

That sounds about the norm for a 100 shot. I got about 7 out of mine at the track and it was still holding good pressure, but it was hot out that day.

Just out of curiosity, how many pulls did you think you would get?

Well this is my first time in my life dealing with nitrous and getting it installed on my car. I installed it about 3 weeks ago. I just thought it would last a little longer, then 8 times. Plus I have to drive 40 minutes to get the bottle filled which is a paint in the ***. And I pay 48 to get it filled. Isn't that a little to much to pay?

Buy the 15lbs bottle, but ya nitrous goes fast, I only use mine when I am in a roll on race or just trying to impress friends.

I really didnt even think I spray that much. I spray in second, through fourth gear, then I back off. Most of your guys have more then one bottle?

Sounds about right, I get a couple less with my 150 shot. And I think I pay about 32 to get mine filled here in Michigan. But there are also shops around me that charge around 60 to fill.

A 100 shot for 10 seconds uses 1 lb..... That's the rule of thumb at least.

I usually take 6 or 8 bottles with me to the track. It gets VERY expensive when you are spraying a big shot.

I pay $50 to get mine filled, but there are definitely shops around that charge $60. As fun as it is to spray, I find that I'm ont spraying it as much as I thought I would. Not that I don't like going fast, I just don't seem to need it unless I line up against something mean.

all my buddies get a 3 to 4 quarter mile passes on the 100 pills, before the bottle pressure is to low. Purge, spary 11 seconds repeat 3 more times.

And add to that how many times the system is purged too.

For as many times that you sprayed and you saying you spray from 2nd to top of 4th this is normal for the bottle to be empty after that many runs.

My 10lb bottle was filled like a year ago and has about 9 lbs left in it. I just never need to use it / never race.

Could be worth buying a few extra used bottles at $100 a pop and having 4-5 filled at a time or buying a motherbottle set up and doing it yourself.
