Default Bottle heater

I am in the process of installing a nitrous outlet bottle heater/bracket and I was wondering if it requires a fuse and if so what size. I just read the instructions and didn't see anything about a fuse.

Yes, it needs a fuse. Probably 20-25 amp.

I want to say that my HSW heater kit came with a 30 amp inline fuse.

heaters usually pull a fair amount of amps, I have mine running through a relay controlled by the switch. I think the power side of the relay has a 25amp fuse in it.

Just make sure your fuse doesn't exceed the relay...you want the fuse popping before anything else.

i just found the instructions that came with the bracket/heater and I find it wierd that the supplied instructions say to use atleast a 30 amp fuse but when you read the instructions off their site there is nothing about a fuse.
