100 shot safe on stock LS1? HELP
Im thinking about buying a ZEX Wet nitrous kit from my friend for 200 bucks. All it needs is a nozzle and the jets. The car it might be going in is a 2000 Camaro Z28 with a stock motor. Car just has full exhaust. Iv been told that the blocks can handle up to 150 shot but i figure id be safe and stick with a 100 shot. The transmission is also an A4 and it is stock no stall or nothing. Do you guys know if this will be safe on the car? The engine runs strong and i have never had a problem oil pressure is good and all but the car does have 141k miles on it. The nitrous will probobly only be ran at the track. Also i need to know the best and easiest way to tap into the fuel lines. Is it possible through the Fuel rails?
Ok thanks and my car does have NGK plugs but i dont remember if they are the TR6 or not they were like 3 bucks each at autozone. And so its ok to tap into the fuel rail with the valve on it right.
FYI, ZEX is flywheel HP and not RWHP like everyone else or so I've been told.
YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE VALVE WHEN TAPPING INTO THE SCHRADER VALVE!!!!!!!!
It's just like a tire valve in the way you remove it. Make sure to have a rag under it before removing it. And watch out as it might spray pretty good. And don't use alot of force when putting the manifold on the fuel rail. Just put it on snug.

Tapping into the fuel lines is easy as meentioned above. You can always go to your fuse box and remove the fuel pump fuse, crank the engine a few times (will not start) and then uncap the fuel valve. Won't be much fuel in the line after this. This isn't a necessary step, but makes for a cleaner tap.

Yep gotcha i think i currently have the TR55's in but i can go with the TR6's since i heard these are recommended for higher compression engines and anyone that sprays basically...and the car will also be tuned.

Thanks for the help guys i got the basic idea. Might be buying the kit and plugs next week. As of right now the keys to my camaro are lost and its also got a misfire so i gotta take care of these problems first thing monday morning.
You'll be fine as long as you get everything in there as suggested. Also if you've ever had a tune, make sure the timing isn't advanced any. There are a few accessories that I'd recommend to help make your system as safe as possible such as a window switch, nitrous filter, blowdown tube, etc. Feel free to shoot me a PM or give us a call if you have any questions.
