Default bottle pressure guage question

ok, i have a pressure gauge on on the bottle that broke and i was wondering if it was necessary to have a guage on the bottle or can i just get a bolt to plug up the hole. i already have an electric pressure gauge in the cockpit so i dont think i really need the one on the bottle.

so the question is can i just remove the guage thats munted on the bottle and plug the hole up?

Have ear plugs when you run it and a few thousand in the bank.

Yes, as long as you have a proper burst disk/blowdown tube setup on the bottle you can plug up that gauge port safely.

As long as its a spare port and you have your pressure relief port still functioning like posted above you'll be fine. You can plug it, use it for a pressure transducer or switch, etc.
