I have a nitrous plate(spray bar style) for an old style sbc engine. My question is instead of running nitrous and fuel into that plate could I inject water meth through that spray bar? Has anyone tried this and did it work?

I've heard of that working on certain applications, what type of turbo are you running?

would probably work, but you would have to check flow rate , and ensure you are getting good atomisation / misting with the plate.

also it is best to have meth spray upstream of the Intake Temp sensor so PCM can read temp changes when your spraying.

and if the plate is after the TB a check valve will be required to prevent meth siphoning under manifold vaccume.

This is on an old style sbc so there are no sensors to worry about. Was just wondering if it would work.
