Default 408s with spray post your time and set up
Was wanting to know what times people are getting out of 408s with spray. At least post your time and shot size and if you want post your set up.

It has more to do with the setup then just having a 408. Im sure you could go plenty fast on your current setup.

I have a budget built 408 in my 240sx. 3300 pounds with me. Slightly worked 243s , fast 90/90 , pat G spec'd cam , 1 3/4" headers. Heads and headers are holding me back. Th350 q45 rear 3.54 gear with 28 slick

I haven't had but a couple passes on spray. But average 10.5 to 10.7 motor 128 to 131mph. On a 100 shot spraying at 60 ft mark ( not wantin to break axle)
1.48 60ft
6.40 @ 109
10.0003 @ 138
Only made one pass but hope fully next week will on a 175 to 200 plate out of the hole

Well not a 408 our 396 went 9.9 on motor 1/4 mile and 5.2 in the 1/8th on nitrous.(about 400 shot)

Cary's C5r heads, glide @ 3200lbs.

I agree. Im uping the juice on my current set w/ Daves help @ Nitrous outlet and pushing the 370 to the limit this year.

on a 408 i went 9.52 @142 3200lbs and my af was in the 9 to 1s

I dont have nitrous times yet. Should have some around June after the motor gets refreshed. But so far its gone 10.60s with the highest trap being 129 on motor.

Going for 10.4-10.5 next time out and hopefully ~9.50s @ 140+ on a 200 shot.
3600 lb C5 with me in it.

My friend Bob has went 5.46 this year with a 408, TFS245's, solid roller, and glide. It has a pretty easy .3X in it.

that car is bad ***, I would love to have a 408 that rode out like that. What kinda nitrous system is he running, fogger or a plate, or both.
