150 shot on TR55 plugs
A friend of mine sprayed his car with a 150 shot with TR55 plugs. He had it tuned so timing had been pulled(cuz he was spraying a 100 shot) but he decided to go for it and sprayed that big of a shot on those plugs twice only. What kinda damage could this moron have caused to his motor?

TR6's & 7's used to be our only choices & they are much better than 55's. They may protrude, but they are colder. BR's are better for spraying, but there have been many car's that have gone many thousands of miles & run 9 second quarters on TR6's.
Tell him to pull the plugs to make sure all of his ground straps are still intact.

You make "Back Then" sound like 35 years ago, when we are talking 4-5 years or less.

I'm not here to argue any point, just stating that as this stuff matures the way we use nitrous changes. I'm not saying that they weren't available, but they weren't in use, back then TR6,7&8's were the plug of choice until just a few years ago.
Hell, I'm running BR9EFS's on one of my cars. I would never run TR's in that car.
