Default Anybody using a Timing tuner HP in a box?

I can get one for cheap from a buddy that went Turbo and no longer needs it.

Seems like a easy way to have a window switch and be able to change timing for N2O.

Anybody running one of these? Do you like it?

Use to have one on the car. Since switching to the MicroEDGE controller, I ditched the Timing Tuner bc I got frustrated with trying to get it and the EDGE to cooperate (but that's another topic). Never had a problem with the Timing Tuner, nor met anyone that had a problem with it. The ONLY thing I dont like about them, is that there is no way to tell if it is actually working. Because it intercepts the signal between the computer and the crank sensor, the computer "thinks" the engine is operating at Normal Timing. So this means that there is no way to monitor it or how much the Tuner is pulling. Any scan gauge or scan tool would display normal timing pull, because the computer is not being told other wise. I just like being able to SEE what's going on with my motor and SEE what my sensor are actually telling my computer. JMO

My n.o.s timing tuner works great. we spray it on the dyno to see if it was working. All has been fine for years.

They are a nice easy to use piece. Mine sometimes locks up if the car stalls and you try to restart it. I have to unplug it and by pass it to start the car then all is fine.

We use to sell alot of them. We still sell some from time to time but we mostly use the lingenfelter unit these days. Its a good unit though.
