Default jet question

ok so im kind of confused so im hoping some experianced nitrous people can chime in here.i have a wet system i just installed and am about to use it for the first time,my question is is the jet calculator from roberttherobot.com linked in one of the stickys safe to use? and are the jet charts listed pretty pretty safe? dont really know which to trust i assume the manufactures use a lot safer jetting but am un sure how sefe the jet calculator is. according to roberttherobt using a .055n/.028f is kindof a 125 shot and i was going to use .030 instead to richen it up a tiny bit to be safe. you guys think this will be fine?
thanks joe

Just FYI i have a HSW single nozzle kit on the V.....had it tuned on the dyno before i sprayed and the rec jet for 100 shot from them was .028, i wound up having to use a .033 to get the a/f right. Not saying your car wont be perfect on the rec jet but its possible the .030 will still be lean. Oh and HSW's rec jet for 100 shot is .052 nitrous/.028 fuel.

My suggestion is if you dont wanna dyno it or tune it to just go with a 75 shot for now but you really wanna log some runs through HPtuners or a wideband of some sort to be safe. Also, if you dont have a fuel pump theres another reason to make sure that the stocker can still keep up with 125 shot.

yes robie the robot is usually a really good guess and will get you close. Those recommendations will be a little rich most of the time as well.

rich is not safe BTW.

cool thanks for the replys. half tempted to go back to a dry set up but i feel wet will be a little safer for now, when i fill the bottle tomorow probly gonna buy a few jets while im at it.car was fine last fall at the track on a dry 125rwhp shot.pulled few plugs at the end of the track and every thing looked good, and camscam02 when you say rich can be dangerous too what else can happin besides washing the cyl wall down with fuel or puddling fuel?
thanks joe
