Yeah I will admit Cam and ATV do know a lot about this subject. But the whole comment on the NOS thing is kinda dumb and immature. Yes im sure at one point in everyones life we have all called nitrous oxide NOS or nozzz or w/e, And the whole typing thing I am sure Double was really just typing and being lazy like a lot of people get when your typing a lot of response back and forth. So that being said I have seen in the past people getting bashed for saying NOS in the forums and it's kinda and silly to me. But enough with this little thread bash and lets get back to helping the OP out.

In your hooked on phonics nitrous thread I was nice...

Stfu. Your *** has no buisness giving advice. You shouldn't be trusted with hairspray and a lighter let alone nitrous and a motor...

Another vote for wet....just my personal preference. Both wet or dry if installed properly can work reliably for a long, long time. That being said, try to cut corners with either and you're in for a terrible surprise.

Why don't you just try spraying dry on a car turned in speed density lmao jk

I have seen more motor blow using dry then wet. On a stock motor or spraying over 100shot i would run wet. Yes both work its just a mater of what u want. On a baby 75-100 dry is safe they both r but trust me your going to want to go up and you will spray it more sS thats one reason i say wet. Ive been around nitrous for over 10 years. I will never run dry!

You can spray a dry shot on a speed density car.

Only on a baby dry is safe? Its safe on huge hits..

None of it is safe. You should never put nitrous on an lsx.

Please dont give advice in here, because you dont know what you are talking about.

10 years spraying nitrous on ricers or what? because you are very misinformed.

I just really enjoyed reading this entire thread. My answer is it depends on your application. Given the choice and money not being a problem, I would get a direct port dry system with a stand alone ECU preferably a FAST XFI. Just my preference but I don't really know what I'm talking about and neither do Wayne (ATV) or Cameron. In fact I should probably take my traitor *** back to the Forced Induction section and go play with my F2...

Cam, btw did you see what Theo ran on Saturday night??? For the sake of conversation its a 67 Nova with a fuel injected Gen 1 SBC and 2 stage Dry nitrous set up. He runs 160lbs/hr injectors and a FAST XFI. Both stages of nitrous in at 1.3 seconds. At 2800lbs the car went 4.995 @ 141.70 in the 1/8 mile. Not bad for dry nitrous.

I didnt get to see that particular pass but I heard about it and I was damn impressed for how much testing he actually does in that car. Went out and went 5.02 the next round. The man knows what he is doing that is forsure! I need to go pick his brain some more.

Nothing wrong with spraying dry on a speed density tuned car. There are many tricks to get the fuelling correct while spraying. The best IMO is to use a custom OS like Efilive's COS5. Pulls timing & adds fuel while on the gas, and no initial lean spikes like you can find with a wet plate system out of the box.

No problem I'll take my bucket of bolts and go play in my sand box by myself...
