how to retard timing with edelbrock set up

i have a carbed ls1 with the edelbrock setup on it and i was wondering how to retard the timing.

When you edelbrock setup you do mean the one that comes with the ingnition box correct?

depends of the box, If its the MSD one then u can use a Laptop, if its the Edel Box then I dont think u can from what I have head, it just come with pills to set timing curves. If your box came with a small disc u have the right one then.
