how can i tell if i have a hsw microedge or microedge plus? Without hooking it up I bought a complete kit and now decided I want the microedge plus but I Don know which one I have

Same unit but the MicroEDGE plus has an external driver box. If you have just 1 electrical component, you have the regular microEDGE. If you have a little black box along with the controller, you have a + version.
