Default window switch in M6 car

Tryed search can't find anything but don't flame me if asked before not in this section a lot till recently.......

I have hsw's microedge and on a M6 car when setting window switch what should it be at 3000 to 6xxx say I set it at 6500 should I rev past 6500 and then shift or is it ok to shift before 6500? I don't know if shifting before window is off it will backfire or something?

Building my 403ci and shooting 150shot on it progressive controlled and basically this is the only thing that has stumped me. Thanks for any help

how ever long you set that window of time (3300rpm-6500rpm is my "open window") The nitrous will be activated. So for my car, if my nitrous is armed and I spray at 3000rpms, my car just gets fuel. If i go over 6500rpms my car get fuel. Its simple.

I think u misunderstood me , I know how the window switch comes on and off and the workings of it but.....if I have a window of 3000-6500 should I rev past 6500 to shift or will the car backfire shifting before 6500rpm

Just thought of this when shifting the tps will shut the nitrous off so when I go wot again it will come back on

The WOT switch will cut off the nitrous if you shift before the top of your window switch. If it were me i would set the window just bellow your typical shift rpm. That way on normal shifts you will have a tinny bit of a buffer time from the nitrous shutting off you shifting.

I set the window switch 200 rpm less than my rev limiter and even on power shifts I have never had a problem with popping or backfires.

3000rpm Activation and cut the switch off at least 100-200rpm's before you or the car shifts.

I understand your question -- I was curious about that as well when I was setting my kit up.

I set my progressive controller to go off 200 rpm before my ideal shift point (6,300 cut off on the window switch and 6,500 optimal shift point). Since I have a 6-speed, my WOT switch cuts the flow if I come out of the gas to shift earlier (yes, I'm granny shifting -- I'd like to keep my T56 together for a while).
