i was thinkign of running a deadhead system but what is the upside of running a return , and if running the plate fitting with a jet for the return would i just put any jet in it or will the size of the jet change the pressure going to the solenoid?

the'upside' to running a return is that it ensures that you don't trap 15ft of air in your fuel line. The return line just keeps a small ammount of fuel circulating so no air can get trapped. Any air will 'burp' itself when it gets back to the cell.

If you are using a non-return regulator, then just tee in a small jet right near the fuel solenoid to restrict the return line. I use something in the .020 range. that is small enough not to generate much of a pressure drop, but dosent clog as easily as a .012. Run the return line directly back to your fuel cell, preferably in one of the bottom ports.
Its obviously more work to get thyis in place, but well worth the time and money to set it up correctly.

Ive never used an SX brand regulator, but it looks like any other one and the specs work well for what your trying to do with it.
If you get this then mount it underhood, and run 3/8" feed and 3/8" return all the way.
