Should i get nitrous?

Currently, my car is stock besides a K&N FIPK and exhaust. (No LT's) All i want is for the car to run with a c5 zo6...I was thinking instead of getting LT's and a cam i should just get nitrous...Would this be the best and cheapest route for a 99 formula ws6 A4 with 152,000 miles running good? If so, wet or dry and how should i go about this? I want to mod the car and keep it as reliable as possible...I was thinking nitrous would be the best, but maybe a cam swap?

a cam deffinately will give you a hefty bump up in power and it will be there all the time unlike nitrous but unfortunately with stock 853's you will only see about 400 hp with a good size cam like a futral f13 or equivelant, maybe a little more with a different cam. but also the ls1 intake is huge limiter also so you would need an ls6 intake to get more out of the cam swap, but you wont see the full potential of your cam unless you have an 85mm or larger intake. but with a good intake and cam setup you can easily see 430 whp or roughly about there

I'm pretty sure LT's are a must with nitrous. You need a lot more flow than stock mani's

Nitrous would be better I think since a cam would require a stall. Get yourself a fuel pump and a nice wet kit with all the required safety stuff and call it a day

check my sig for the SS, i think the car ran just fine on stock manifolds with spray. Youll benefit from them but no way in hell is it a prerequisite before nitrous.
