OK, so some of the ls1tech staff feel the nitrous section could use a little help.
i think you guys have all been good and we are doing fine without help but im not on as much anymore being busy running my company and with life in general, and atleast 2 or 3 of the other mods are never on or hardly on.
this being said im taking names of those who feel they can handle a mod position or know some one who can.
please tell me who, and why they should be a mod and i will present the top guys/girls to my crew and make a pick.

what we are looking for is some one active in this section, knowledgeable with this section, been around a while and knows the players, plays nice, knows there stuff, gets along with others etc etc.
so if you think you fit or know some one who might, please let me know.

ps. being a mod does not pay any money, some sponsors offer discounts to mods, you know some inside scoops, you get to put your 2 cents in about the site to the right people, you have a say in changes to be made etc.
its a thankles job but it needs to be done.

I'd be willing to help out in the MOD department if interested. I've been on this site since its inception...so yeah I've been here a while. While I might not have a million posts, I do read the forums alot and send PM's and such. I've never started **** with sponsors and I get along with a good portion of the sponsors here. I also have a personal and business relationship with several sponsors of this forum. Most can vouch for me, plus I'm still actively in the Nitrous game even though I don't post updates about the combo

As per our PM I wanted to post something up really quick so you could get some more feedback. I'm another guy that doesn't have a million posts, but has been around for a while, if not on this site, at the track or in the garage. I don't claim to have all the tech skills of some of the heavy hitters, but I've been doing this stuff long enough to answer 95% of the questions that come up. On top of that I don't start fights on here, but have never been timid about spreading the best information I can (while playing nice, though, sometimes people make it tough). I just generally want to see this place continue to grow and stop the rampant spread of misinformation that has seemed to creep into this section since I spend so much darn time in it already (hell, I'm on here at least a couple hours a day as it is).

Let me know what I can do to help!

Honestly, Noyzee I would think 2 mods in here that are actively in this section would be more in order. I am not jockeying for the position at all, but my vote goes for dnkynrbk and ryarbrough to be mods here. They are the guys who can advise all the newbies with the small questions and even answer some of the questions on some big shots.

As some people move on to bigger shots of nitrous and they have been advised to go to direct port systems we need mods that can advise on that. A plate system is a little easier to tune but going DP for the first time , even though a person might have been spraying nitrous before, is a little intimidating to play with and tune with all those nozzles and that much nitrous.

Whoever you choose, I am sure they will be a good mod. Just my .02 cents.

 

Thanks silverbullet. That was exactly what I thought when sending Brad a PM about helping out. We've already been "blessed" with having the nitrous "big boys" that are active here, but this section seems to need some "clean up batters" as well.

Not to negate my or dnkynrbk's experience, but we've already got plenty of vocal characters around here that are great to talk to if you want some advice on nitrous theory/hitting an LS motor with 400+ shots that are far better than me at this stuff. That doesn't mean that we don't need other mods to keep the smaller questions answered/weed out the 10-million spark plug threads a week/still participate in heavy nitrous tech conversations.

im going to discuss this with the rest of the staff and we will get rolling.

im on atleast once a day to do a quick scan, have not been big into the game lately do to work and other things, and i know that. i will not give up my spot here as i still feel im useful and love tech but as said, there are pretty much 2 active mods on here and i think atleast one more is needed.

I will be a mod on here. I've been a member for years on here there is a handfull of people that can vouch for me and my feedback speaks for its self. I have had a few nitrous cars over the year currently have a 8 decond 440lsx and can awnser most of the questions asked on this fourm. I also built musclels1powers cam only car that runs 10.30s a with 1.33 60 ft times. Plus I'm on the web site for a lot of the day. Thank you and just pm me with any questions.
