I was looking at the Brand X system. Just wondering if anyone had any feedback that they are willing to report. Good, Bad or indifferent. Any results? Is it an easy install? Is it relatively safe?

 

I've had a Brand X kit on my T/A for almost a year now with out a single issue. Been a great kit and makes the power.

 

My brother runs one, I have one i'm installing now.

 

I have two friends using the Brand X kits they run great and are easy to intall Plus Chris or Dave @ NitrousOutlet will help you with any tech issues and will help you with what you need for you application.

 

I got my Brand x Direct port but i have yet to try it out...
i doubt ill be dissapointed, customer service is great with nitrous outlet

 

Those kits are great, especially for the entry level nitrous guys!

Nitrous Outlet makes some great parts, and these are no exception.

 

I replaced my TNT solenoids and purge with the Brand X stuff. Works great so far. I am not going over a 200 shot so they were a great choice for me.

 

I cant comment on their systems - but I bought a pair of their 10lb bottles.

Very nice - I first pulled their bottle valve out and realized it is very similar to the NOS Super Hi Flow valve - I have seen other brands with 1/4" siphon tubes the Brand X had 3/8".

 

 

So youre not gonna say what you mill off the valve on the sides??

 

We do not mill anything off the valves. They come to us that way from the valve manufacture so we can insert a bubble sticker into the valve. The Brand X does not get the bubble sticker though.

Gotcha - after pulling the valves out of my bottles, I noticed the siphon tubes were larger than the standard valves in most other brands -

Didnt know if you guys got some sort of bulk purchase deal from someone like NOS for upgraded valves but had to remove their name (i.e. the milling).

No matter what it is, for $159.00 its a hell of a deal for a bottle with a decent valve.

 

LOL. I aggree. The Brand X line is suppose to be our entry level budget line and there are cheaper valves we could get from the valve supplier. I just dont want my name on any of them. In all honestly the Brand X line as a whole is a hell of a deal.

if Dave makes it, sells it, puts his name on it or says its good. ITS GOOD.

 

I have used, abused, and installed many of Daves products with 0 issues and a lot of *** kickin.

 

I have used a Brand X kit and my buddy is using one now on his GTO, never heard of any other locals that use them having any issues. DAMN good kits for what you spend on them IMHO.

+1 for Chris and Dave. They have always answered my questions and helped me out any way they could. Very top notch and knowledgable guys in my book.
