Angry My bottle is leaking

Go to disconnect the feed line & get it out of the car to take it in for a refil & nitrous is shooting out as soon as I loosen the feed line.

Anything I can do before I have to waste $ on a new valve or bottle?

Not exactly sure what the issue is... Is it excess leaking from the feed because you don't have a purge or is actually your bottle valve leaking? Sometimes it's as simple as making sure your valve is closed all the way... Just saying.

The valve is closed all the way. I know how to turn the handle.

It's not what is in the line, it's coming from the bottle.

Simplest solution is to get a new valve. I would.

Hi NewCar,
You could have a damaged seal but it is more likely that you only have debris stuck between the seal material and the seat. The valves can be disassembled to inspect the condition of the seal material. If you don’t want to disassemble the valve yourself, we will be happy to inspect it for you if you send it to NX. (even if its not our valve)

I was hoping not to have to spend that much $ on the fix.

OK dumb question but I have to ask...
After you shut the bottle valve, did you purge it dry before cracking open the line? There is a suprising ammount of liquid in a 14' line.
