Default Spraying on the brake

i dont have a 2 step on the car so when i am on the brake can i just flat foot the skinny pedal and let it start spraying before the light goes green or do i need to wire in another relay? im only spraying a 100 on it and didnt know if it would have any ill effects or not. on the brake the converter will go to 4400 na and around 5200 on the spray. the last time out i didnt try using the brake in conjunction with the n2o. i was foot braking it to 2500 and then just going wot after that to engage the nitrous. best 60' with this method was a 1.44. i think it will leave harder with the brake but just wanted to make sure i was ok to do so. thanks for the help.

Add another relay (n/c) so when you press the TB button the n20 is not active but the TB is then as soon as you release the button it activates, probably $30 bucks worth of parts. I just changed to this method and it knocked off about a tenth in my 60ft. I ran consistent 1.48, 1.45, 1.44 60s last Friday night. Since your car is already in this range it's very possible you will go 1.3s...

i know about that but was curious as to whether or not there would be any ill effects from just spraying while im up on the converter at the line. for a second or less before the green comes on. i guess i will just have to wire in another relay. where can i find a good schematic for doing this?

Done it before.... makes alot of noise because the 2 step is dropping random cyl.

But the car left HARD !! I talked to Jeff Prock about it and he said it wouldnt hurt anything but we dont need the car to leave that hard so we dont do it.

I wired mine to the relay and when I have the transbreak pushed it doesnt spray until I release the trans break then it sprays right off the line. My full weight car pulls a 1.32 60ft with a stock k member and a arms. I just have QA1s thats it.

I do not have a 2 step. It will be spraying right when I floor the car on the brake.

Agree with ATV. I could only imagine how hot the fluid would get if you're on the brake spraying more than a second or so...

If i stage the car and wait for the first yellow then floor it I should be fine then. I am running the micro edge as nothing more than a glorified window switch. I may just put in a regular ws and eliminate the micro edge. any suggestions on a ws? I think this will simplify the wiring a bit.

I'd tighten em up just in case.... Stuff gets expensive quick when they come crashing down from bumper riding incidents.
