Default Timing retard, ECU pin

I thought I read you could ground one of the pins in the ecu to get some timing retard, pin 56? Anyone have info on this?

Red Pin 56 is what EFI Live uses for Custom Operating System 5.

When it is grounded, it uses alternate VE multiplier and Timing tables.

You must have EFI Live Cos 5 to use it (COS 5 is attached to 2002 OS). Not sure if HPT can exploit it or not.
