Default Shifter question answered.....

The shifter is a B&M Ratchet Shifter - part 35498. It is designed to work with the 4L60E transmission and can handle the OD (4th). It uses a lock-out feature which requires you to pull up on the handle to move between Park and Reverse or Drive. Once in Drive you ratchet it up or down through the gears. When installed in the stock console bucket the red shifter pointer will read Neutral when in reverse and 3rd Gear when in Drive - other than that it fits and works perfect!

Do you have any other pictures of your filter setup? How far down does it reach? I'm guessing it is 4''? What bends did you use to make it? I really like the look of that.

The piping is only 3 1/2 inch due to clearance issues. Would of had to move the radiator support down about a half inch to fit the 4 inch pipe and decided that was a winter project. The picture below shows a little more of the piping and filters. Not sure of the bend details as I had it custom fabricated by a local guy who does great work.

Look very sweet, I hate the way the stock shifter looks. I looked up that part number and it came up with a bracket and lever kit that said it works with a TH400, 350, 250, 2004R, and 700-R4 but doesn't mention 4L60E

I'm really diggin the whole car, the nitrous just tops it all off

The 4L60E is an electronic solenoid shifted version of the 700-R4

All of the piping is 3.5? Including the main pipe? It kind of looks like it is. I had managed to find that picture under searching on this site under your name. I'd like to build something similar. I think it would be a nice place to put a couple hard to see nozzles.

Timing tuner works great and the P Guage is fantastic....easy to use and adjust and lean/rich cut-off adds safety. Good luck with your set up.
