Default 2 step and WOT switch?????

I have a 6spd car, 2 step and a N/O progressive controller, how do I set it up so I can use the 2 step without activating the nitrous since the car is at WOT on the 2 step?
Do I just not put the pedal to the floor using the 2 step? Do I set the nitrous to come on at a higher RPM then the 2 step is set. Can I not really use the 2 step?? How do I make this work??? Planning on testing at the track this friday.
Thanks
Mike

The way we do that is running two relays. One for the WOT switch and one for the two step.

Well there is no actual WOT switch the car has a progressive controller wired to the TPS.

2 relays will work but you can do it with one like I did. Not sure how you would have a brake on an M6 LOL. I'm also assuming you already have a relay powering your solenoids.

Go get a 5-pin relay instead of the normal 4-pin like your kit came with. For my setup I use a stretch cord with a button on the steering wheel. I can probably get you a diagram later but this is how it works. When you push the button, 12V will activate the 2-step and deactivate the nitrous by breaking ground to the nitrous relay. When you let go of the button, the 2-step is deactivated and the nitrous is activated as long as you are at WOT and within your RPM window.

You win this round

That is a 5 pin relay and I did mean 2 step. Formula383 has it right.

I was told I didnt need the relay with the progressive ??? it uses a fuze looking deal(forgot its real name) instead.

I have the 2 step hooked up to a stretch cord and mounted on the wheel also, just not sure how I would hook it all together. A diagram would be great.

It can still be done without the relay. Instead of breaking ground to the solenoid relay you can break 12V or ground to the solenoids. You still need the 5-pin relay though.

I might have a 5 pin at home. Sux my computer at home is busted. Its gonna be hell trying to remember this with no help if I get lost. Excuse my crappy drawing but here is how mine is wired except the 2-step(not pictured) comes out of the MSD Dig6 box. Should be just like yours Kyle. Where does the relay come in a what should it go to?

Mike, I found my diagram but it's scribbled down. The progressive makes it a little different from mine. I've got a single stage controller with no progressive. I'll see if I can figure something out for you.

Here ya go man. Just made this diagram for you this morning. This is how I have mine wired in. I know this doesn't work exactly for your system but you should be able to tell how the 5-pin relay switches power between 2 circuits and apply that to your setup. I think you can use the 4-pin relay to break ground to the solenoids by changing a few wires around. But in the end, it looks like you will need 2 relays to solve this problem due to the controller.
