Default 32.5 degree timing advance not nitrous-friendly?

I'm running a '93 Mazda RX7 with a 2002 LS1/T56, TR224 +112LSA cam, 3.90 gears, Monster stage II clutch, Intake, Headers exhaust, etc. The car put down 371rwhp / 360tq during a tuning session and the best time at the track is a 11.87 @ 119 (car weighs 2,850 lbs, runing MT ET Streets).

I am interested in adding a Harris Speed Works wet plate kit and running around a 100hp shot and try to dip into the low 11's high 10's when the cool weather comes and before the end of the season is over. The install seems pretty straight forward and I would most certainly put in a set of colder plugs.

What I am somewhat concerned about my current tune and the nitrous not getting along very well. A friend let me use his HP tuners at the track so I have a datalog from a recent pass, I found that my tuner has the timing advance set at 32.5 degrees, which from what I have read is pretty aggressive on the advance (not sure why my tuner did this honestly). My question is, what should I do? Pay another $300 and Have the tuner come back and give me a more nitrous-friendly tune and suffer the lower HP when not on the bottle? Buy some sort of controller that fools the IAT to lower timing? Run as-is? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Use the search feature and educate yourself about nitrous.

firstly,find a used tuning program,(efilive,hptuners)as cheap as you can and tune it yourself...

that way your certain of what your looking at timing wise among other things...

Few questions?
1. 60ft on best pass?
2. Launch rpm? (I assume the rx7 rear is weak?)

To answer your question 32.5 is way too much timing for nitrous, probably for motor as well. Your NA times are way off for your power to weight ratio. That is the reason I'm looking at 60ft times and launch technique. Like Nathan stated you need to really put in the research on tuning nitrous, I searched for about 3 months solid before I hit the car with 150.

1. The 60' on the pass mentioned above (and my best 60') is 1.750 . I agree that my times may be a few tenths slower than what they should be, but my MPH definitely resonates my power power levels for my weight.

2. I have found my best launch RPM to be 3,500; I basically slip out the clutch and go to WOT as soon as I feel weight transfer. RX7 diffs are stronger than most people like to give credit for... there's guys well into the 9's and 10's on stock diffs

I would be interested into getting into tuning the car myself, but I would be such a newb, I would have a very hard time trusting my tune...

I think the new dual pcm thing would work good. 32.5 is fine if thats what the motor wanted. but having a 2nd pcm with a nitrous tune would be helpfull. Also learn how to do timing and fuel adjustments your self no 2 different days tunes are 100% the same. Its best to keep up on the plugs and tune every pass.
