you wont long as you use 20amp hsw noids. Sarge was running 33 amp nx noids, wich the microedge wont fire correctly. His complaint is HSW don't tell you that info...

Exactly King. Now that all of my wiring is so embedded with the MicroEdge it would be re-install to pull it and put something else in. Don't get me wrong. I like the MicroEdge and it's features but would have gone a different direction controller wise had I known it wouldn't work.

40 amp load capacity, right under the Dual Stage Progressive Control.

Yep and Matt said that was 20 for 1st stage + 20 for 2nd stage. For total of 40.

He just called me back and said he was wrong and it is 40 per stage. Which still isn't enough.

Matt said I have to run my N2o Noid on one stage and fuel noid on the other because the 2 combined are over 40. None of your diagrams show it having to be run like that but oh well.

While this will work, or it should, I am now only getting a single stage controller.

is there any added risks involved with running the n20 and fuel on different stages?

Not as long as both stages are setup the same and set for the same gears, RPMs, delays, triggers, start and end power, lean and rich shutoff, etc...

If they are the same shouldn't be an issue.

You'll be fine running it like that. Honestly shop around...not many controllers out there that can handle such a high amp load on only a single stage. Most of what I've come across is only 40amp per stage. Would switching solenoids be an option? Don't need high amp draw to be fast.

Sorry to the OP for de-railing the thread. If you have any questions just ask...I'll save you the sales pitch.

I disagree.. I hate the idea of splitting circuts for solenoids.. If for some reason one part of the controller burns out or one of the wiring connections come loose you will still have one solenoid working while the other is not.. Could cause a huge issue.

Its one of those what ifs.......

Is this only for the progressive kit? I have a standard microedge with a big anxious fuel selenoid and a big nos nitrous selenoid and I have had nothing but issues with activation since I installed the kit...its also not spraying the whole track when it avtualldoes spray
