Default help me pick a nitrous controller for my set up

okay first off i already have \
an fjo mini controller early style
a timing tricker
a micro edge and an interface

i dont think these will work with what i have because of the amp draw
i am running a 4 soleniod direct port and a hsw brute force plate

i havent really decided whether im going to run 2 stages or one 300 on the direct port but i want to be able to control both of them if i want to

i will have hp tuners taking care of the timing so i dont need the timin tricker or the interface at all. i just need one controller that will control everything

here is a pic you can see the plate but i havent mounted the hsw solenoids

I'd definately look into something progressive if you plan to put 300 through the DP. Power management will be key to getting it down the track and keeping things alive.

Well the. Direct port is pilled for 300 and the plate is pilled for 150 . Im still up in the air whether I want to use both and do 150 in each or just do 300 and a progressive . I think the 2 150s would be better for those roads in Mexico but the single 300 for the track

Our MAX 3 can run a 80 amp one stage. If you want you could run our solenoid drivers and run both the plate and four solenoid direct port all of just our controller on independent stages.

The Maximizer is pretty pricey for having to buy a PDA and an injector driver. Can you run it on a laptop with windows 7

Who said a PDA or an injector driver?

Maximizer III can run two stages at 40amps or a single 80 amp stage. They are laptop programmed. Yes it is compatible with windows 7.

No if you would like to run the direct port on the first stage and plate on a second stage, you can run solenoid drivers and have it all handled via the Maximizer.

Maximizer is a great option for what your looking for sir.

I use the FJO mini all the time to controll 4 solenoid directports. It will handle the amp draw with no problem.

There are alot of nice controllers on the market these days. My question would be what features are you actually going to need in use?

The FJO as far as I know can only be done by running it on both stages with the ramps the same. Which means you have to change both stages every time to make a change being sure they are the same. The 80 amp one stage setting I feel is a cleaner more correct setting.

FJO does rate each stage at 40 amps continous. However it is rated conservative per Gerald at FJO. I have used the FJO mini on many set ups with one side (stage) of the controller controlling a 4 solenoid directport while the other sisde of the controller controlled the plate system.... No problem I do not believe in spliting banks and I would never do that..

Brian black is a good example.. I plumbed a 4 solenoid direct port and a spray bar for the other stage and he has the 4 solenoid direct port being controlled by one stage of the controller and the spray bar stage being controlled by the other stage of the controller.

His is also the old style unit with the driver seperate just like yours...

Look up Smknta95 and check out his set up.. Working great..

The FJO you have will get the job done.

That was a clean set up... But I know you just like to change things to stay busy.. After all I have lost count of how many nitrous systems I have done for you now..lol
