Default What hp shot needs aftermaket fuel pump?

I am running a Harris wet plate. If I go over 100 shot do I need a fuel pump
and am I safe at 75 to 100 without pump?

ive heard of quite a few people spraying 150 on stock timing, stock pump, with just high octane fuel and 1 step colder plugs, i guess it all depends on how safe you want to be.

You should be fine at that level, but step it up slowly and monitor how it's doing. I ran lots of passes at 150 wet shot on stock fuel pump with no problems.

My fuel system is 100% stock and i've sprayed 100, 150 and 175.....i would not go over 150 on a stock pump though.

It really depends on the total horsepower the car is making... mods + nitrous... If you are near 400 rwhp, its time for a pump.

Your 119 MPH trap speed says that your dyno numbers are from an EXTREMELY generous dyno...

With my stock pump, no hotwire, "42lb" injectors, and stock returnless 2001 Z06 fuel rail, I can't spray bigger than 70-75 hp with a wet shot off the fuel rail thru a "plate".

If I put in larger jets, it misfires from going lean due to the "shock" of the nitrous hit on the fuel side to the rear-mounted-regulator-type system.

I plan to "devolve" the car to 97-98 Vette return-style system since budget excludes a stand-alone right now. An upgraded fuel pump is key also.

Its based on overall hp. Most pumps max out somewhere around 450rwhp

Who cares what a dyno says, its a tuning tool and i've had more than one dyno tell me the same. After i get my nitrous issue fixed (cutting in and out up top) i should be over 120+ in the 1320.
