Motor purge wiring
Hello all...
I'm not new to the nitrous game, but I did recently add a progressive controller to my system. How can I wire in a bang button/motor purge?
I have a dynotune/nitrous outlet progressive controller and a single stage plate. Can someone lead me in the right direction please?

Let me see if i have this straight and please correct if I'm wrong...
Using a 5 pole relay to grounds that way the controller is bypassed while purging
Pin 87 would go to my ground wires for my solenoids
Pin 86 would go to a toggle switch
Pin 30 to the battery
Pin 85 to my bang button
???
Or am I completely off course?

I'm not using a purge solenoid.
It will be the nitrous and fuel solenoids actually opening with the push of a button...People call it the bang button or purging through the motor.
I just need to figure out a way to bypass the controller. I think the way I have it my post is right, just need that verified

What you are looking to do is a horrible idea.
Ill tell you how to do it But I need to know exactly which progressive controller you have. We have had two different deisgns. OUr turn **** style or the digital.
Again did I mention this is a horrible idea?
Let me explain to you why....
Banging the system at idle with both fuel and nitrous not only risk a caugh but the fuel will have residual bleed off. Since the engine rpm is not there it will just load up the plugs.
If you do it with just nitrous it will cause a lean condition spike...
I have seen people do this and get away with it but I have also seen it cost people pistons..
Why are you wanting to do this?

I understand they make purge systems for a reason, I have a purge solenoid also. My thought is, why waste it in the atmosphere when you could have some fun with it instead
Ok.. That controller applies a positive to the solenoids.. All you need to do is wire in a seperate relay that will supply positive to the solenoids when the button is pushed...
Still a horrible idea.. All that wil happen even with 2800-3000rpms will be that after you bang it the car is going to have residual fuel bleed out and load up the plugs.
There is no bennifit to what you are wanting to do.. Just a chance of hurting something.
