This is what I am thinking! Again good start and with a few tweeks could be a really nice clean install.

Young buck?? This guy's page says he's 35!! But you have to respect something that can potentially kill you! I can't knock him too much, other than his nozzle placement. Hell, you guys might get a laugh out of my first Nitrous install.

At the start of the video when he had to move the line to see the purge/window switch I thought this was a joke. In a related video check out these tools http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQoqe...layer_embedded

The WOT switch with the "custom" bracket was my favorite part. I see how thats much better than using the TPS sensor.

Not sure how much a sensor is but the switch comes in the kit or you can buy one at radio shack for $199. I installed my micro switch on the gas pedal to keep things out of the engine bay.

Hits on the video have really taken off, as have the harsh, harsh comments... the guy has to have felt the scorn of teh intarweb by now and yet the video remains up. I suppose some people like being famous, no matter what it's for.

I know when I was a young buck I did some pretty stupid stuff because I did not know any better and I had no one to tell me any different. Back then there was a lot of gray areas when it came to nitrous.

Dave

This.

You sir are great for this forum. I respect that you took the high road and not made fun of him. I can't say that for myself.

When I found this video and posted it it only had 500 views and 1 comment haha. If a video of mine was blowing up on the internet id leave it up even if was being bashed.

Nitrous install...

Fire starter...funny how the fire is in a perfect line along the 2X4. Almost as if a little lighter fluid was squirted on it.

I dont think it was spraying! If it was Id have to say thats the slowest car on spray I have ever seen. Even a 94 intregra bone stock with a 50 shot moves out faster than that

its nice to know im famous.too bad for all the wrong reasons.im not sore or bitter from all the harsh comments.i will agree with everyone.my install sucked.i bought the kit from a guy at work.it wasnt model specific.im not going to defend my install at all.i wasnt completly finished with the install(hence the feed line and purge line not secured).anyway i am real suprised at all the harsh comments from the lsx community.THIS WAS MY FIRST INSTALL.i did ask you guys a few questions..like whre should i install the nozzle?and all i got was..dry=before maf wet= after maf.and the jb weld was just a seal to make sure i didnt have a vaccuum leak.i do have a 19mm fine thread nut screw tohe nozzle...but then again,im not here to defend my install,i know i fucked up.i guess i just needed some pics or to do more research.i was just trying to get it done with what i had.listen guys,i am truly sorry for the "half assed install".my next one will be much better.yes..im going to try again.you learn alot from mistakes.just suprised at some of the guys comments.but oh well.YOUR WELCOME FOR ALL THE LAUGHS. lol!
