Default Nitrous gains seem a little lacking

Does this sound right or and I missing something? I went from 7.51@92mph 1.64 60ft to a 6.94@99mph 1.51 60ft. Both times I left at 4k off the trans brake, which seemed to get the best times. The car felt great, I didnt get to check my plugs due to how busy the track was. The set up is basically cam only with a th400 with a supposed nitrous converter, 4.11 rear gear and 28in tire. Is this a pretty weak gain for a 150 hit?

On a 150 shot I would go 6.72 at 101 dropping from a best of 7.52 at 92. Do you have a window switch? Are you getting any tire spin? We basically have the exact same setup so what plug are you running? Gap?

Yea, window is set from 4100-6600, and shifting at 6500. Absolutely no tire spin. I'm running a br7 gapped at .32. I don't know the DA but air quality was outstanding

I take it you have a big stall? If you stall is anything shy of 4100(on nitrous) then you are leaving allot on the table by not spraying out of the hole. Regardless not too shabby being you should drop around 1.5 in a full 1320. therefore .75ish is what you would look for in a 1/8th.

when you guys say ,spray out of the hole, that it mean you set your ws lower than what you leave on the trans brake.

I wasn't spraying the converter while on the transbrake....still not too comfortable with doin that. But as soon as I let the button go. The nitrous was active. I've just been getting the feeling the converter is the issue.....fuddle ftl

How much timing?

Try lowering the WS to 3k and see how it does. I had mine set at 4k and was pulling 1.44, went to 35 and went 1.41, now going to 3k hoping for 1.3s. Along with some other suspension tweaking.

LOL... I said the exact same thing a month ago. It's really hard to expalin. It seems that if you have the WS set right where the TB leaves off you will be spraying right the hole right? Well I thought the same thing but I listened to the experts and lowered mine and the car kept getting faster. I could probably expalin it in person but it's really hard to type out. Just try it ans see if it helps, just make sure your timing down in those cells is right.

I'm understanding it lol. I think we started the timing pull at 3200. I thought about lowering it but was unsure of what would happen

Unforntunately my tuner lives almost 2hrs away.....so I think I'm stuck at 3500 for right now. I am itchin to hopefully try the track again but I forsee last Friday being the last t&t. Now when u set yours to come on before the brake, are you actually spraying while on the brake? Or are you flashing the **** put of it with the nitrous

No, it's still not going to spray on the converter, just flashing it like you stated.
