Default ? on reading plugs

I got a quick question about reading the timing mark on the plug strap. I'm running a br7ef on my carbed LQ4 that's is currently N/A, but will be on the bottle after I get the N/A tune down. My question is should the timing mark on the strap still be right at the apex of the curve with the br7ef, since the curve is so close to the threads opposed to a tr6, or should it be more towards the tip?
It's probably been answered a thousand times on here, but I couldn't find anything on it.

That's kind of what I figured but wanted someone with more experience to confirm it!
