Default nitrous on a 408

I have a never used NX 20920 system (150) sitting in the garage for a couple years(through a divorce) Currently I have a 408 w/Ls3 heads/intake, kooks,619/629 243/250 112. compression is low 10's. What is the safe limit with this motor? Is there any cheap upgrade for this kit? Street use only.

I would seel the kit personally. Or see if you can send it in and have it rebuilt. I hate to put some kit thats been sitting around. Im sure you can do a 100 to 150 shot. What is the motor set up for boost being low 10?

The motor should hold at least up to 200hp but if you wanted to be safe stick to 150hp and have fun.. I would at least send in the solenoids to NX and have them look them over to see if anything is wrong with them.

I agree. At least send us the solenoids to be gone through. If you like Send us the entire system and I will look it all over.

If you would like, shoot me a pm with a little more information on the car. Builder of the short block, future goals, and how you drive it. Ill let you know if there are any upgrades worth your while and go over having your system sent in.

bottle was filled and everything else is still in packaging. Motor has the eagle crank, rods and I believe the pistons are diamond. Heads are studded with cometic gaskets(were 54 I think 67 now, numbers correct?) pretty much stock LS3 heads/intake NW/tb 42#svo inj. It's in a heavy Camaro SS vert. that's driven occassionally on the street only. I just had the kit laying around and thought it would give me more room in the garage if it was installed on the car. I think 200 would still be very safe
