Default NANO connected to the wrong port?

I bought a 15lb nitrous outlet bottle/valve and a 4500psi nano kit from a friend locally and looking at the NANO check valve I think it is in the wrong port... Chris @ Nitrous outlet told me looking at the bottle with the label/blowdown fitting facing me the NANO should be going into the RIGHT port but this is in the LEFT port.

I just filled the damn bottle with 15lbs of nitrous for imports vs domestics race this weekend at MIR so it is too late to change the fitting now.

He sprayed his car on the dyno with it and picked up a solid 150rwhp on a 150 shot so it appeared to work fine for him atleast for the 2 times he ever sprayed it.

Should I be looking into keeping the bottle warm and running without the NANO until we can empty the bottle to correct the fitting or will it somehow function properly? lol

What left port...lol I went and checked mine and I don't have anything on the left, just right. Do have 4 ports on it? The main one, a burst disc, and 2???? Acc ports? Maybe your lable is on backwards....

The left hand accessory port.

Already confirmed with Chris @ Nitrous outlet that I am fucked.

Time to find a way to keep it warm this weekend.

Just to add for people wondering why you can't use both ports on our bottles.

With the bottle label facing you...

The left hand side port is machined all the way to meet the siphon tube
( if you put a Nano on this side you would have the Nano pushing the nitrous back down the siphon tube )

The right hand side port is machined to exit via the bottom of the valve itself which exists to the top of the bottle.
( putting the Nano on this side will allow proper use of the system as it would compress the liquid nitrous to the bottom of the bottle )

You will need to retune because it will be a completey different car when the nitrous isn't fighting to get out of the bottle.

Can you post or pm your dyno graph fro when you had it tuned with it hooked up that way.
