Default New PB 10.10 at 131 with 1.37 60ft

Went to SGMP today and met up with DBN and N2RACINGLS1'S. I won't ruin their excitement so i will only post my results. I have been struggling back and forth with my timing trying to get the most out of my combo without shooting a rod out this stock setup. Well, i think i finally found peak timing today.

First pass (track cold, not hooking) This was on 14 degrees
1.432
4.195
6.535
104.85
8.564
10.288
130.67

Pass 2 (track is hooking) This was on 16 degrees
1.369 New PB
4.109
6.425
105.99
8.432
10.138
132.01

Pass3 (track is hooking) This was on 18.5 degrees, DA pos 600
1.376
4.084
6.394
106.13
8.398
10.105 New PB
131.52

MPH fell off on the last pass. I think it was due to my bottle getting low and possibly too much timing even though the plugs looked good. I will cut them and post up pics later. On my 10.13 pass this was the first time I ever felt the car lift both tires This is my end to 2010 racing, looking forward to going back in jan when we get some negative DA. After pass three i swapped my street tires back over and cruised home. Very thankful for a safe day and new PBs!!!!

not the best video but it will do..

Lol... It's Ray (first initial last name). You'll surpass my time long before I get this new combo worked out. Big changes over the winter to gun for the stock cube record guys!

I'm really impressed you guys are running so well. Definitely an accomplishment!

My bad, lol... Man people have a hard time believing my motor is stock, heck I have a hard time myself... The LS1 never ceases to amaze me

I am thinking about having a motor built next year also. looking to do something in the low 400 ci range that will go mid to high 10s on motor and high 8s on the gas. I guess we'll see when next year gets here how the good old money situation is looking

Nice hits !

put 2* in an picked up 2mph ... looks like the last pass was on the same track (ran faster to the 1/8th) I would try that tune up again with a fresh bottle.

mine went (100 shot) 10.29@132 with a 1.35 60' before i started tearing it down for winter. just got the harness trimmed up and the dash put back in. plan on spraying a 200 through a plate next year.

Can't put nothing pass you man, you can tell what's going on without being here. I bet if you were to see my tune it might go 9s as is... I've been researching and trying allot of different things with the timing lately, just thankful it's working and still in one piece.

edit: you know I've been trying the 950psi we discussed and it seems to work best, however the guy that fills my bottle always seems to overfill it a bit. I try to purge as much out as possible without being wasteful because it seems that the car always runs better on the second pass. I think it has allot to do with more stable bottle pressure. Still learning and I appreciate your help.....

Thanks guys, I'm not giving up till I see that 9.999 flash. I don't care about the whole "you got to back it up XX amount of times blah, blah" I just want one slip

Twotonefreak Congrats man!

Sus - PHB, DA LCAs, Moser 9 with 375s, Tunnel Mount ADJ TA, Stock Rear Springs, DA Strange Shocks on all 4 corners with 300lb springs up front, Stock rear Sway, Front Sway removed.

Weight - Pass seat, Rear seats, Front bumper Support, AC (still have blower motor and heater core) Front Sway, Spare/Jack, Washer Reservoir, then just little stuff like rear speakers, rear seat belts etc.. Car weighs between 3450-3500 with me, the past few times at the track they have not had the scales connected so I really don't know exactly where I'm at

Congrats on the new times Andy. Its getting closer little by little. Unfortunately I will be getting a transmission sooner then I expected. So no 11 sec slip for me this year.
