I've got a couple of questions for you Dave.

With a 2010 Camaro LS3, would you feel that swapping pistons for the GMPP LSX flat-top 4032 piston and adjusting ring gap and bearing clearances allow for the motor to take a bigger hit? Or do you consider that a waste without upgrading stock rods and using 2618 pistons.

At what hp level would you suggest stepping up to a direct port system over a plate? I gotta say your four solenoid rail system looks sweet!

I currently have installed a VaraRam, 211/230 122lsa cam (LS9) and cat delete pipes. Thinking about setting up the motor to spray before going to a bigger cam and adding headers. Going to upgrade the rear with gears and axles before anything. Thanks, Kevin

Kevin,
To be honest with you these stock motors can safely take a 150 shot all day long. Key word safe... Now move to the risk area and many of us have hit these motors with 200 and even 250 with great results for a good amount of time. The key really is in the tune up. I feel good with 150-200. 250 is really playing with fire.

If you were going to open the motor up I would do pistons, rings, rods, and bolts all at the same time. If ou want to get real serious there is more to be done.

It really just comes down to how much you want to hit it with.

Dave

Thanks everyone.. I am happy we were able to show off our 2010 plate system. It is a work of art that produces great power.
