I would use a progressive controler and just set it 100 rpms below your shift point. I just like the added security knowing it shuts off if it goes above 7600rpms in my car. To each his own.

Do you have steering wheel controls in your WS6?
I ask because I used the steering wheel controls for my 1st and 2nd stage(stealthy, I know) and I just made an aluminum plate to go in the ashtray for the arming button.

It was a custom thing I did. All you need is the wiring diagram for the air bag coil under the steering wheel and you should be able to figure out the rest. You have to run ground thru it for the relay though because that is a very small wire and the switch is small. Since you are probably shooting just 1 stage you should be able to make one button your purge and the other for the hit.

I just did it so I wouldn't have to install a button on the steering wheel and since I have an aftermarket radio..... the preset button does more than just change the stations!

is the auto trans really that crappy we cant even use the diablo trans pressure inrcrease or spray 100 through shifts?

half the ppl on this thread say we can and the other half say no regarding spraying from 1-3rd. whats the big deal?

with an auto, its gonna hit the rev liiter regardless....so why lose a second or two letting go and then restarting the spray

if you want to rebuild your 4l60e sooner, then spray through the shifts. I've never had one that could handle it not even with good parts. just spray it until right before it shifts, then as soon as it shifts lay back into it. I wouldnt spray through the shifts on it, its gona give up, and I bet third gear will turn into a neutral after a couple track days.

I think spraying thru the shifts on a stock 4l60e must be a luck of the draw. I have seen my buddy go 11.20 w/bolt-ons and 150 shot and then put on heads and cam and run 10.58 on the same 150 shot, all with a stock trans. It didn't last forever like that but it didn't blow up after four passes either. we raced on the street a couple of times like that and it had over 60 passes at the track like that on the bottle.
